    COVID 19 UPDATE: 23/10/2020

    As per UK government guidelines Yachtshop have had to close its stores to the public until the 09/11/2020.

    Our webstore is still operational, and we are able to supply any items you might need via mail order. The safety and wellbeing of our customers and employees is obviously our highest priority and so we have decided to make the follow temporary changes to our ordering process:

    1.In order to minimise travel and handling of packages web orders will be processed and dispatched collectively in batches throughout the week. This is to minimise how often a staff member is required to travel to and from our stores and will mean we can take appropriate hygiene measures when handling your order. Please be aware that as a result some orders will likely suffer a slight delay in shipping. We will of course endevour to get every order dispatched and sent to cusomters in as timely fashion as possible but we ask you to kindly bear with us during this unordinary time.

    2.Collect in store – this is still available but will only be possible if we agree a time to meet you at the shop. Once you have placed your order - A Yachtshop member of staff will contact you to confirm a collection time slot - Please leave contact details during checkout. When collecting your order, you will not be able to get into the store however someone will be there to hand over to you - appropriate social distancing measures will be explained and must be adhered to.

    We appreciate that the above measures are not ideal, and we would like to thank you for your understanding and co-operation with them. Your support really makes a difference during this difficult period and together hopefully we will all be back on the water soon.


    Yachtshop has some of the best offerings in the marine trade available. Your purchase is an investment in the time you have on the water, please ensure you choose the shipping method that best suits your needs. If there is any kind of deadline, consider upgrading the service.

    Free delivery is available on purchases over £150 excluding heavy and awkward items or liquids.

    Express orders are picked and packed within minutes of receiving them, standard orders within 24 hours of receiving; this excludes weekends and bank holidays.

    Special Orders – From time to time and at certain times of the season, we have to special order some items from the manufacturer or distributer.Rest assured that this shouldn’t cause any significant delays, and in some cases your item is already on its way to us before you place your order! You can always contact us using live chat, email or phone to confirm potential delays at any time.

    Liquids/gels can only be sent by DPD courier and may attract a surcharge depending on volume.

    Deliveries to Northern Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Northern Scotland, Scottish Islands and the Isles of Scillymay attract a surcharge depending on the item ordered and the service chosen. More details can be seen below.

    Returns and exchanges

    If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, simply return the item or items to us in their original condition* within 30 days of receipt. You must notify us in writing within 14 working days, by post or email of your intention to do this.

    We will issue a refund or exchange the item for a different size / colour if preferred. Delivery charges are only refundable if you have canceled your entire order within the 7 day Cooling-Off Period or where the goods are faulty and a refund is made.

    Where you require an exchange, for example, because a size has been incorrectly ordered or you have changed your mind, we will make a small charge to cover re-delivery costs. 

    Payment for this must be provided before we will send out the replacement item.

    For European and International orders the charge will vary depending on the current cost of delivery to that country. For an accurate price, please contact us before returning your item.

    Sorry, we cannot accept returns of custom items, cut lengths of hose, chain or rope. 

    Please note :

    ·      The item is your responsibility until it reaches us. For your own protection, we recommend that you send the parcel using a delivery service that insures you for the value of the goods.

    ·      The cost of returning the item to us is your responsibility.

    ·      The return can take up to 7 working days to be processed once received.

    * Note: when trying on items of clothing, please ensure that you are not wearing perfume / aftershave or a deodorant which may leave a scent or marks on the item. The item(s) must be returned in its original packaging with all labels and tags and with all enclosed documentation.

    We will be unable to accept the return of any item where there is evidence that these instructions have not been followed.

    For large items such as outboard engines or tenders we reserve the right to charge a re-stocking fee of 10% to cover our administration costs.

    Faulty Item

    If the item you received is faulty, please contact us quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return. You have 30 days from receipt of the faulty item to notify us of your intent to return it and a further 30 days in which to do so.

    Incorrect Item

    If the item you received is not what you originally ordered, please contact us quoting your order number, your name and address, details of the product and the reason for return, and whether you require a refund or a replacement. We will then advise on how to proceed with the return.

    All refunds will be given as soon as possible, and usually take the form of a refund transaction using the same method used for the original purchase. This normally happens within 48 hours but at the very latest we will refund your money within 14 days from the day we receive your returned item. In the case of incorrect ordering and undisclosed reasons for return, a credit or exchange may be issued and the customer will be expected to pay the return postage costs.

    Our Click & Collect service offers all the benefits of shopping online combined with specialist personal retail experience in one of our stores. Simply order your items, select Click & Collect and pick up your item at a time that's convenient for you. Best of all the service is completely FREE!

    Use our website to browse our catalogue of products with stock availability. When you find the item you want simply add it to your basket like you usually would.

    2. Checkout using Click & Collect

    Scroll down and choose Click & Collect as your delivery method. Enter your postcode at the checkout to find your closest store.

    3. Choose the store of your choice and collect your items

    Choose a store of your liking, click continue and complete the rest of our standard checkout steps and you’re ready to collect your item in store.


    Frequently Asked Questions

    When can I collect my order?

    For items in stock at the chosen collection store, we will normally have your item ready to collect within 1-2 working days.

    For items which are at the warehouse your order will be ready to collect in the time indicated on the website; or if at another store approximately 3 working days – please call in advance if you are making a long journey, just in case!


    How will I know when my order is ready?

    For every order we will send you an e-mail to let you know when your order is ready to collect. If you’ve ordered a bike we will contact you once you have placed your order to arrange a collection time.

    What do I need to collect my order?

    Please bring with you your confirmation e-mail, a photo proof of ID (i.e. passport, driving licence), and proof of address.

    We will hold your order in store for 10 days, if you have any problems with getting to the store to collect your order please feel free to contact the collection store and we will happily extend this time where possible.

    Can Someone Else Collect My Order?

    Please contact the store you have chosen to collect from in advance and we will do our best to accommodate any changes relating to collection. 

    How do I cancel/change my order?

    If you wish to cancel your order or make any changes please contact the store directly, contact information can be found here. Please note, full refunds will be made via the original transaction made with our online team.

    How do I return my order?

    Our normal returns policy applies to all Click & Collect orders, for more information see our returns policy. You can also return directly to the store.





    With Pre-Order, you can purchase the latest items added to our store in advance of them arriving with us.

    You Pre-Order is prioritised (at no additional charge); meaning that, as soon as the product arrives with us, we can wrap it straight back up and get it sent out to you - it often never even hits the stock room shelves!


    With Pre-Launch, the date when we expect to receive the product ourselves is still a little too hazy to be confident in accepting Pre-Orders.

    So, instead, you can submit your email address against the item you are interested in and we will email you as soon as stock arrives on the system.

    Estimated Delivery Dates are given on Pre-Order and Pre-Launch products. They are for indication purposes only and can change at any time without notice.
