Honda BF20 SHU, 20 Hp Short Shaft The lightweight BF20 is the most powerful 4-stroke engine available in its class, ideal for pleasure boats, sailboats, aluminium craft and small inflatable vessels. Available with the option of an electric tilt (LRTU model only) navigating shallow water is not a problem, whilst Honda’s unique PGM-IG technology provides smoother acceleration with great fuel efficiency.
Electronic ignition Digital CD ignition is maintenance-free and ensures easy starting, smooth running and optimised performance.
Optional charging coil 6 amp charging coil available on tiller handle models and a 12 amp charging coil available on remote control models.
Hand controlled throttle Throttle friction knob and a tool-less steering friction lever allow for easy operation.
Honda 4-stroke engine 20 hp water-cooled, 4-stroke OHC engine is quiet, with low fuel consumption and emissions.
Optional shaft lengths Available in either long or short shaft, dependent on model.
Safe operation A range of features including 0il pressure alert, start-in-gear protection and a wrist-fit engine kill-switch inspire confidence.
Pendulum motion engine mount Eliminates vibration for a smoother drive.
